Dear Dad

Its Fathers Day tomorrow for all you that have forgotten! I’m linking up with Mummy Central for this special occasion to celebrate how wonderful my dad is.

Dear Dad

I don’t have many memories from my childhood but I know I had a great one. My earliest memory is probably one Christmas when we was at Nan’s house. When she lived at Cookham and we got our new and 1st ever stereo me and Emmily got it to share and you brought me Lets Get Ready to Rumble CD! You managed to hide this in the car as you did every year when we went down there at Christmas time, so we thought Santa had realised we was not at home and had gone to nans!

Over the years I know us 3 girls have caused you stress and worry. You are always there when we need you, when we are struggling with money you always bail us out I’m sure you could be a millionaire by now if you hadn’t given us you savings. As soon as you save money it all goes again as we are in trouble. We probably don’t tell you as often as we should but we are very grateful.

When we break up with our boyfriends you are always there to hug us and let us move back in when we need to.

With out your help there are lots of thing we wouldn’t have been able to do. You have taken us on some really memorable holidays over the years and we have been to some great places, without you I would have never been able to buy my house.

Now things have changed and we all have to learn to live on our own feet without your help as much, but we are coping with it. No more Dad I need to borrow some money which is a line you have heard way too many times! and you never ask for it back. I know that you want to help but you can’t at the moment but we will sort it out and everything will be fine.

You always buy us great presents for Birthdays and Christmases we are always spoilt by you. As are your Grandchildren probably too much but we don’t mind.

Hopefully now we wont be Boomerang Kids as we all seem quite settled. Especially now you have finally married one of us off, 2 more to go!

Today is the day that we tell you how much we love you and to say than you for all the things you have done for us over the years.

Just remember soon it will be us looking after you!
